Welcome to Prairie View A&M University’s SCAD Finding Aids section. We are actively working on several projects to make information accessible to our patrons. Our collections are separated into three categories: Manuscript Collections, University Archives, and University-related Objects. Alongside this archival processing project, our contribution to the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) grant is to produce 34 Finding Aids for University Faculty collections within our holdings and upload them to the TARO database coming soon. Lastly, during the Spring 2023 semester, our archivists processed a large newspaper collection entitled, “The African American Newspaper Collection” which consists of nearly 40 publications.
**Processing Note: The collections do not go in sequential order because we are still currently processing some smaller collections and will upload the correct numbering system in the near future.
