Books and other items are shelved within 24 hours of their use, stacks are maintained, and are monitored to insure that all items are in correct Library of Congress shelf order.
Please do not reshelve books. You may place the books on book carts available throughout the stacks floor and simply leave them on the tables or study carrels.
New Books are displayed on the corner display shelves of the Circulation counter for one week before going into the stacks.
