Family Sources: Bibles, letters, diaries, photographs, scrapbooks, interviews, documents( marriage, license, birth certificates, divorce papers, death certificates, military discharges, deeds, mortgages, wills and tax receipts)

Local Sources: City directories, telephone directories, newspaper articles, genealogy newspaper columns, records (cemetery, school, hospital, church), tax and voter lists, maps, local histories and lodge records

County Sources: Records ( vital, land, probate, court-civil-criminal), voter registration and maps

State Sources: Vital records (birth, marriage, death and divorce) state censuses, state library and archives, state historical societies, land office, maps and legislation records

National Sources: Mortality schedules, military- immigration – land and pension records, passenger lists, maps, and Greek-letter organizations

United States Census Collection:
