How to link PVAMU Library to Google Scholar

Open a new window, go to Google Scholar at: https://scholar.google.com/ , click on the bar menu on the left side to open the menu items.

Step 3:

From the menu, select "settings."

Step 4:

From the settings, select the button "Library links."

Step 5:

Type "Prairie View A&M" in the search box and click the search button. You will see the two search results for Prairie View A&M University - Full Text @PVAMU and ProQuest Full Text. Check both boxes. Click the "Save" button.

Step 6:

Close the setting window. Stay logged in to the Google account. Go back to Google Scholar at: https://scholar.google.com/ to start searching. Type something in the search box and search. For example, search articles about information literacy skills.

Step 7:

From the search results, a note of full text@PVAMU will appear on the right side of the screen, indicating this article is available from the PVAMU Library. Clicking on the article link will take you to the full text. There is no logging required on campus network computers. PVAMU netID and password are required for off campus access.
