Introduction

Women's History Month is an annual declared month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. President Jimmy Carter proclaimed National Women's History Week in 1980 and in 1987, Congress passed Public Law 100-9, proclaiming March as Women's History Month. 

Below and in the attached tabs are over 100 books written by women or about women and topics related to women's issues.
