Introduction to professions in agricultural sciences and technology. Importance of agriculture in the state, nation and world. Review of research developments; explorations of career and other opportunities and development of human resource skills needed.

Group Assignments

Students are required to develop a two-page manuscript regarding an agriscience related project or research incorporating the major components discussed in class, including research, technology and cybersecurity related to the agricultural sector. As part of this assignment, students will be graded on a ten-minute presentation to their peers during a predetermined class period. Specific instructions will be provided in class
