SPSS stands for Statistical Package for the Social Sciences and is a software package used to manage and analyse quantitative data which has been popular at the University for more than thirty years.  SPSS to analyze survey data and mine text data so that they can get the most out of their research projects

 

How do we access SPSS remotely?

We have a campus-wide license for SPSS and it’s included in our Virtual Desktop Infrastructure(VDI) offering. Anyone can access it at mydesktop.pvamu.edu

Does this allow downloading to personal computers?

No, the license is for university-owned devices. You can VDI from your personal computers, and save your work on USB or Home drive.
