Genealogy: Family Tree Research Project
Students will research their lineage including parents, siblings, grandparents and beyond, create a poster displaying their research and present the poster to the class.
Public speaking assignment in which students create a PowerPoint from the explored research topic and then present specified details to peers.
A rubric will be provided in Canvas.
Presentation Etiquette
Public speaking assignments (oral presentations) are designed as a beneficial learning experience for the class collectively, as well as, for the individual student. Please demonstrate respect to the presenter by not talking, not writing (unless taking notes), not utilizing your personal electronic device and absolutely no sleeping. Points will be taken off your grade if respect is not given to the presenter.
