USAIN- Librarian Services LAND-GRANT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES: Cooperative Extensions : USAIN- United States Agricultural Information Network (USAIN)

The United States Agricultural Information Network (USAIN) is a member-focused organization that connects librarians and other information professionals working in agriculture. As such, USAIN provides a forum for discussion of issues in agriculture, food, natural resources and the environment, sustainability, human ecology, and rural sociology
takes a leadership role in the formation of a national information policy as related to these areas
makes recommendations to the National Agricultural Library (NAL) on agricultural information matters and advocates for NAL, and
promotes cooperation and communication among its members and with other organizations and individuals.
Through committees, interest groups, and a biennial conference, USAIN members are active in professional development; preservation and digitization of current and historical publications; dissemination of and access to publicly funded research information and data; and the exchange of research results generated by our members and collaborators.
