  • socio-economic sustainability issue of healthy food consumption in the modern complicated urban context
  • environmentally sustainable built form in the cities

Student Learning Objectives (SLOs)

  1. Demonstrate understanding of formal ordering principles in form-making
  2. · Demonstrate the ability to relate socio-economic connection with space-making
  3. · Achieve the ability to make a professional presentation

1. analyze a medium size program.

2. define the design problem in terms of socio-cultural, economic, and environmental aspects.

3. analyze the site and context.

4. prepare functional relationship diagrams, including alternative schemes.

5. study and employ methods for evaluating and selecting a successful design.

6. demonstrate representation and communication skills.

7. use machinery and laser cutter for the presentations
