ABCs of AI

A – Accessibility

Definition: AI tools can support diverse learners through speech-to-text, translations, personalized reading levels, and more.
In education: Makes learning materials more inclusive for students with varied needs and abilities.

B – Bias

Definition: AI can reflect or amplify human biases found in its training data.
In education: Teaches students to recognize and question biased outputs, search results, or decision-making processes in AI tools.

C – Critical Thinking

Definition: The ability to analyze, evaluate, and question information and tools, including AI-generated content.
In education: Encourages students to assess AI outputs thoughtfully, ask how and why an AI reached a conclusion, and understand its limitations.
