  • How do I access the online eJournal portal?
    • Begin at the PVAMU Library homepage. Then, either scroll down until you see “E-journals” under the search bar and over the link to Digital Commons on the left column or ctrl+F, type in E-journals and then hit escape and enter. If you are off campus, this will prompt a login of your usual PVAMU credentials. If you need help getting access, click here.

  • How do I access the online catalog?
    • Begin at the PVAMU Library homepage. Then, either scroll down until you see “Library Catalog” under the search bar and over the link to Digital Commons on the left column or ctrl+F, type in Library Catalog and then hit escape and enter. If you are off campus, this will prompt a login of your usual PVAMU credentials. If you need help getting access, click here.

  • What database will be good for my research?
    • Begin at the PVAMU Library homepage. Scroll down until you see Databases A to Z. Click it, then where it says All Subjects, click that to select the subject of the database that pertains to your research. Read the descriptions to narrow down your search. If you’re still unsure, ask a librarian using our live chat service by clicking here.

  • How do I access the database from home/off campus?
    • To gain off campus access, you must enter your network ID (part of PVAMU email before the @) and your PantherNet ID password.

  • How do I get access to information on APA formatting?
